Langdon, NH – The Fall Mountain Regional School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Debra Livingston Manseau, Ed.D. as Interim Superintendent of Schools, effective October 22, 2024. Dr. Manseau brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the success of students, educators, and the broader community.
Dr. Manseau is no stranger to the district, having previously served as the FMRSD Superintendent of Schools from 2007 to 2013. During that time, she spearheaded several key initiatives that significantly improved student outcomes and strengthened community engagement. Manseau served as the Superintendent of the Manchester School District from 2013-2016 from which she retired. Since retirement, she has served in various educational roles including Teacher Evaluator/Consultant, Interim Assistant Principal and Interim Director of Human Resources.
Board Chair, Alissa Bascom expressed confidence in Manseau’s leadership, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Debra back to Fall Mountain as Interim Superintendent. She has a proven track record of success, not only in the field of education but also here in our own district. Her knowledge of our community and her visionary leadership will be invaluable during this transitional period."
In this role, Manseau will oversee the district’s operations, ensuring that the focus remains on providing high-quality education to every student in the Fall Mountain community. She will also work closely with district leadership, staff, and families to ensure a smooth transition through a search for our next superintendent.

We truly appreciate her commitment to our students, staff, and community, and we are grateful for her unwavering support. She has been an invaluable asset to the district during this time, ensuring that both the district and the middle school continued to thrive under her guidance.
